PETS AND ANIMALS

Celebrate the love and joy that your pets bring and how much they mean to you and your family.

Ceremonies for pets and service animals

Pets are part of the family, too. Show how special they are by giving them their own dedicated ceremony.

You may want to hold a celebration to mark the day that your pet came into your life, particularly if they have been rescued from a shelter or from cruelty, or give them a fitting tribute when it is their time to cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Let's take a look at some examples of ceremonies for pets and other animals.

Celebrate the day your pet came into your life

The day your pet comes home is always a special day - it could even be seen as another birthday, especially if they have been adopted or rescued. Gather your loved ones together to make the day special or to welcome your pet into your family home. If you've had your pet since their earliest days, why not mark their birthday with a celebration too.

Funerals for pets of all types

Saying goodbye to a pet when they pass away is always difficult. They will have been with you through all of life's highs and lows, being a loyal and loving companion whenever you needed them. In much the same way that a ceremony is held for a friend or family member, you can hold a funeral for your pet, to remember the times you had together. Whether you just want a small ceremony at your home, or in the place that your pet loved to explore, or in a Garden of Remembrance, the options for giving your pet a perfect send-off when the time arrives.

Ceremonies for service animals

Service animals deserve to be celebrated for all the work that they do in our communities, and so when it's time for them to retire, their contributions should be recognised. Alternatively, I can host a ceremony for you to give a special thanks to a guide dog or any other working animal.

Let's talk about your needs

In the same way as a ceremony for a family member or friend should be a celebration of their lives, achievements and personalities, holding a ceremony for a pet or animal is completely unique to what they mean to you. To talk about your ideas, use the form below or send me an email and let's make your ceremony one to remember!
