Event Hosting
Take the pressure of hosting an event off your shoulders
Make your event stand out
Putting on an event presents numerous unique challenges, from organising venues through to promotion, and everything else that comes in between. There are several considerations to make, but having a host can help ease some of that workload.
Whether it's for a charity event or bringing employees together for an awards evening, a host - also known as a Master of Ceremonies or emcee for short - allows you to focus on the intricacies of putting on an event and, most importantly, gives you the opportunity to sit back and enjoy it when it begins!

Community events
Community events such as village fetes are a great way to bring people together and celebrate a shared cause. In the same way, charity events not only raise awareness but allows like-minded individuals to meet and show their support.
From introducing speakers at community celebrations to announcing important information to attendees, I can help ensure that your event runs smoothly and is one that visitors will remember for all the right reasons. I have personally championed numerous causes, from mental health to animal welfare, ensuring such topics are approached in a respectful and tactful manner.
Emcee for celebrations of creativity
As a poet myself, I know the important role that an emcee has in running open mic nights, book launches, and other celebrations of creativity. Having hosted my own events, both in-person and virtual, I am confident in managing running orders and maintaining the smooth flow at an event.
I have strong connections within the Worcestershire poetry community having previously been a guest host at the popular Dear Listener poetry night and various events at Script Haven in Worcester city centre. I am also confident in suggesting ways to make events interactive, ranging from Q&As to book readings, working collaboratively with all involved to make the event a huge success.
Chair for conferences and business events
If you're hosting an annual conference or team awards celebration, having a guest host can bring fresh energy and gives you as the organiser one less factor to worry about. Coming from a marketing and PR background, I understand how vital it is to understand the core values of an organisation and will work closely with you to deliver an event that has these values at the forefront.
I am also available to chair panel discussions and roundtable discussions as one-off events for both individual organisers and on behalf of agencies.
